A perfect storm...... - a photo on Flickriver

            When the weather man tells you the "Beast from the east" is returning then grab your camera and head to the sea!! There were quite a few photographers at the Aberdeen harbour south breakwater yesterday shooting the fast big wave action shots from higher up on the hill, so i chose to be different and head down on to the beach to the back of the wall to take shelter in between the huge waves that were battering the breakwater....... i chose to slow things down and try some long exposure with some milky water as it cascaded down the wall on to the beach, the spray from the waves was unforgiving but worth the effort of getting wet......Scotland's harsh weather conditions sometimes gives you the best images if your willing to brave what it has to offer!
